Peaches!

We have really enjoyed the peaches that I put up last year and I have been looking forward to canning some again this year too. As you know.. last year was my first time and I had my mother in law's help. This year I was on my own and I decided to try a different method... and less sugar.

Time will only tell if they worked out, but anyone who is interested in either canning, or picking your own veggies/pumpkins/fruit/farmers market, etc. This
is a great website for all sorts of down home type things.

Next month I am going to try APPLES!!

Way to go! And all by yourself, too! (Not that you're not capable. I just have a hard time staying focused and finishing when I'm by myself) I wish we could just pop over and try some!

Wow! Is there anything that you don't do? I need to take some lessons on being a domestic goddess.

Isn't canning fun? DARE I admit it? I canned for 100 (yes, 100) pints of tomatoes for the first time this year and LOVED it. Peaches? Now that sounds good..

Good for you. I don't think I will ever have the patience to do canning! By the way, I found Super Why, thank you. Also, the swimming program Talyn was in is called Swim Kids: www.swimkids.biz I know they have Summer and Fall sessions, I don't know about Winter or Spring. Loved the program but it is expensive.
