This Just in... awhile ago.

Just when you think that you must be crazy because you feel so tired first thing in the morning and on til bedtime (which suddenly has crept up to 8:30) and you alternate between feeling so hungry you could eat a horse and the thought of eating makes you want to puke you realize there must be more at play here....

That is right, folks, the wonderful journey that is pregnancy has struck again in the Tomsick house! Although I admire those who coyly keep their secrets until two weeks before delivery, I am just not built for mystery. My tendency towards having the knowledge of something that is meant to be kept quiet combined with the burning desire to share with someone... anyone who will listen is less than condusive to it.

I know the risks of disclosing early on, and I am issuing a preemptive apology if something does go wrong and then you all feel awkward struggling to find something to say. You have my permission to remain silent.

Regardless, there you have it world... we will be happily welcoming number 2 scheduled to arrive New Years day 2009. Here is to having just one... for at least 7 1/2 more months. To being a mere couple with a baby to a full-on family of four! and so on...

CONGRATULATIONS! I had a hard time haveing a second that is why they are 4 years apart. Some people have an easier time at it and I think you are one of them. You will do a great job.

Oh, how great! I am here to tell you that I think two is easier than one! Your attention is spread a little more and they eventually will play together and give you a little more space! Yeah! I am so excited for you!

I can't wait until you find out what you're having. I know that is a ways out, but it will be fun to see who Audry's closest cousin will be.

Wouldn't it be fun if your baby were the first one of the New Year! Wouldn't that make it a very long New Year's Eve day!

The second baby is so much easier... but it's insane having two. Get through the first year and you will be ok... CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm excited for you. My mom told me to call the new baby "Hannah's Baby." She wasn't really jealous. I'm a believer in this method.

Yay!!! Rach I'm so happy for you. I know you don't enjoy pregnancy, so this is the ultimate sacrifice being prego again. P.S. I'm almost done with "the host" and I love it!!! ( but I wasn't as psycho as I was with the vampire books)

Congrats! And good luck getting through the pregnancy part. I would have 20 kids if I didn't have to be pregnant! Moving on up...pretty soon you'll be looking at the dreaded minivan :)

congratulations Rachel...As for the vertigo feeling - I had 9 months of it. The nurse giving me my epidural said "this might make you nauseous", to which I kindly responded, "honey, I've been nauseous for 9 months"...followed by delivery and feeling a WHOLE LOT better! Good luck to you! Can't wait to read more of your posts! You're a great blogger - I love reading your stuff.

I knew I needed to be on the computer more often. I am a bit late in saying this but CONGRATS!!!
I found that everything about a first baby and pregnancy was exciting and a second baby/pregnancy is sweet and reminds you of the first. But my favorite part is that your body already knows what to do so your labor and delivery will be smoother. My first baby took two solid hours of pushing but my second came out without even a full push.
I am so excited for you and can't wait for all the updates!
