The sun will come out....??

It has pretty much been one of those weeks. I have been sick, my baby's been sick and I have just been all around put upon.

In an attempt to maintain sanity, we headed to storytime at the library. JJ threw my phone (that I just got 35 days ago) onto the ground and it fell to the gravel in the next parking spot. Since I had the edge on my carseat wrestle, I let it fall when suddenly a guy pulled right in and right over it! AT&T was no help as I am passed my "30 day" and it is physical damage. They wanted me to just buy a new phone at full price.
Frustrating! For the time being I can make calls, but can't read the screen for texting or looking up numbers. I wish that I could just bag the cell thing all together, but to get thise new phone I had to extend my stinkin contract!

I need to catch a break.

I'm so sorry.
I know EXACTLY how those days go.
And of course it happens on day 35 right? 5 FREAKIN DAYS!
Contracts should be illegal.

so sad!!! cell phone accidents are the worst... I dropped my whole purse out of the car once and the whole thing got ran over, including my pretty much brand new cell phone! I opened the car door to yell at the guy behind us that was beeping at my mom, who was driving. my purse fell out and I didn't realize that it had until awhile later. I got it back, but everything was crushed. that was like 5 years ago, and I've since learned to control my road rage. :) ohhhh and I hate the contracts, too! they get you every time.

Wow, that's pretty good luck with cell phones. I hate the contracts too. What you should have done is purchased the warranty BEFORE you called them and reported it busted.

I hate it when things go wrong. Bad enough it hit the floor, but to have some dude drive over it? I'm so sorry. I wish I knew a worker at At&T that could hook you up.

Rachel--this is Kelsie. I was checking my email and your name came up on the side, with the link to your blog, so I came to look at it. :) Very cute. Sorry about your phone--so crappy! I hope you all start feeling better.

Your poor cell phone! Remember that one day in our old neighborhood when you left your cell phone on the roof of your car and then backed out and it fell into the middle of the street... cause I do, and I was just laughing about it. ;)

Good luck getting a new one!

I told Porter he was going to see JJ today, and he kept saying "see JJ". Hopefully next week!

Gotta hate stupid things like that...at Christmas time I was getting out of my car at the mall and the wind blew my door open really fast and shattered the next cars mirror and the frame around it....I WAS SO MAD!!!! I had to leave a dang note on the car...for some reason your cell phone story reminded me of how frustrating that was! YIKES!

So sorry about your phone. Sometimes it seems like things go from bad to worse. And I hope you and JJ start feeling better soon...

I'm so sorry. I had a friend who was having such a series of bad things in life, that she prayed right out loud in her kitchen, "Give me a break." Then she went out to take out the garbage and it went over the curb and she flipped right inside, breaking her arm! She got her break all right. However, when she went to the hospital and were x-raying her arm, they saw a shadow on the x-ray and discovered she was in the beginning stages of cancer. If not for the break, they would never have discovered it and been able to treat her.
Still, what are the odds that your cell phone would have been run over in that minute on the ground. Sheesh.
