PARK (aka photo-opp)

I have been trying to work on my pciture-taking.

Question: does anyone know how to get in better focus?? Maybe it is just my un-steady hands? DAD? Worksformom? Ang?

Also: how do I get my colors more vibrant? Filter advice? This is my new favorite park for JJ. It is a bit of a drive.. but so great for a child his age. I variatable wonderland!

JJ is getting so big. I couldn't beleive the way he just ran up the staris and went down the slides all alone. Not so mention the big boy swing! I thought this was a cute picture even though the lighting is a bit off. I love the kids in the background. He loves to be surrounded by activity!

The best advice I can give is to learn to shoot in Manual mode. Reduce blur by upping your shutter speed or get an IS (image stabilizing) lens. Although you can't always have it perfect, cloudy days are always best for pictures.

I hardly recognized JJ. He looks so grown up. That looks like a really fun park. So did you get a new camera then? How fun! I am still planning to take a class to figure out how to use all the cool features on mine. In the meantime, it takes pretty good point and shoot pics. Your pics look great, crisp and vibrant!

Those are cute pics of JJ. He is such a handsome little boy. That park looks like a good one, Which on is it? When it gets a little warmer we should take the boys to the park and have a play day. Glad to see that you got a new camera.

either you could get use a "defog" action which is the unsharp mask in photoshop...or play with levels, curves, brightness but the unsharp mask does wonders to clear off the haze, or to save time use a uv filter...won't run you too much. Manual focus is really the best way to work out the focussing, unfortunately it takes so much time so I just shoot shoot shoot and hope for the best. hope this helps, but your pictures really do look great! JJ is such a cutie.
