Tis the Season (almost) Haiku

Another week gone,
Seems like time is passing fast.
Thanksgiving next week!

The following day
Our halls we'll be decking
Christmas is so fun

When we are festive
Suddenly winter's worth it
Favorite time of year.

I am one of those Christmas nuts, so I'm thankful we're almost through Thanksgiving. Sad, eh?

I think because Thanksgiving is earlier this year I am feeling the push a little more. Maybe, since Black Friday is a week earlier than normal, I'll get things taken care of before 9:45 pm on Christmas Eve! Probably not, but a girl can dream, can't she??

The days are just flying past.

Just so you know...Andrew doesn't think he sings well and would
NEVER sing out loud in front of people alone. Most the time he is joking around when he sings and I still think it sounds really good!

I know, right? I hate baking anyways! We've known for over a year that Grace has Celiac. It's an autoimmune disorder where her body reacts to gluten (the sticky component of wheat, barley and rye) by coating her intestine and ruining it so she can't absorb nutrients from food. Due to a really great Pediatrician, who did a simple blood test because Grace was always sick- her immune system was in overdrive-we found out at a young age. Since we've been gluten-free, she hasn't been sick once- not even a cold! ANyways, didn't mean to go on and on! But now you know!
